Ten Things You May Not Know About Me

Welcome back or welcome to my blog!

Today I'm going to go over some things you may not know about me. Some of the things ranging from how expensive my wedding dress was to things that happened in my childhood. Here are ten things about me!

My baby Cal and I in our matching tops!
  1. I'm extremely double jointed. My elbows bend back, I can bring my thumb down to my wrist, all of my fingers bend backwards, and I can move my pinky toe individually.

  2. I love to cook and try new recipes! My husband is always trying the different things I make in the kitchen. Ranging from my chili to a terribly made pumpkin bread.

  3. If I could have chickens in our backyard I would, unfortunately the city we live in doesn't allow chickens in the city limits.

  4. Even though I live three hours from the border of Canada, I have never been to Canada! Now that the borders are starting to open up after they were shut down so long due to Covid, I'd love to go.

5. My wedding dress was only $35, while my husbands outfit cost him around $500 altogether! This photo was taken during our first dance and I couldn't stop giggling because as soon as the song started playing he whispered in my ear, "Guess how much this all cost." While we're talking about expenses I might as well throw in there that my veil was only $3.

6. I lose things in plain sight! I will set my phone down, walk away, come back and it's gone.

7. I have so many different passions it's hard to choose a career path sometimes. I love interior decorating, social media, cosmetology, marketing, etc.. I think I need to find a career that smooshes them all together. That way I can always be doing something I love.

8. I really loved to read growing up and when I started to get too busy in high school and college I fell out of it. Ever since being in our new home I've fallen in love with reading again.

9. This one seems a bit silly, I'm a list maker and need to have a timely schedule but most of the time I'll be late anyway. I don't know what it is however, now that we have a baby we're definitely not going to be on time to anywhere anytime soon.

10. I had braces when I was younger but before I got them put in they had to remove a tooth on the middle of the roof of my mouth. Speaking of teeth, I lost my first tooth because my cousin knocked me off the exercise trampoline while I was spraying candy in my mouth.

I hope you enjoyed learning a few more unique things about me than you already knew, until next time!
