Welcome back or welcome to my blog! I wanted to share an updated version of my skincare routine and introduce some new products that have become essential in my morning skincare routine

As a busy mom, I know how important it is to have a simple yet effective routine that fits into our busy schedules. So, let's dive into my 10-step morning skincare routine and discover some amazing products along the way! I'll walk you through each step of my morning routine, highlighting the benefits and personal experiences with each product. From removing last night's facemask to the final touch of sunscreen, I'll provide tips and insights to help you achieve radiant and healthy skin.

  1. Fresh Start: Rinsing Off Last Night's Facemask

  2. Cleanse and Refresh: CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser

  3. Glow Up: Embracing the Benefits of Facial Shaving

  4. Tone and Balance: Thayer Facial Toner, I just started using their milky toner and I like it!

  5. Bright Eyes: PÃœR MINERALS Mellow Eyes Hemp-Derived Eye Patches twice a week otherwise I use CeraVe eye cream for wrinkles.

  6. Nourish and Rejuvenate: The Skinny Confidential Ice Queen Face Oil, is one of my favorites and I'm almost out!

  7. Ice Roll to Start the Day: The Hot Mess Ice Roller

  8. Lips Deserve Love Too: Laneige Special Care Sleeping Mask

  9. Shield Your Skin: Supergoop Sunscreen, if I am stepping foot out of my house there is no doubt I'm putting sunscreen on. Below, you'll find a list of all the products I'll be discussing in this blog. Simply click on the photo for a direct link to each product!

#1: Rinsing Off Last Nights Facemask

Before I go to bed I put on a facemask, you'll learn more about that in my evening skincare routine. So of course every morning I rinse it off with hot water, for me, it's usually near boiling! I use a makeup remover cloth, specifically The Original Makeup Eraser. It's so soft, wipes everything off with ease, and it's machine washable so no more throwing out those makeup wipes! Also, it doesn't pull on your skin and cause wrinkles. Something I never thought I would be worrying about as a 22-year-old.

#2: Cleanse

After I rinse off my mask, I wash my face with the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser. I have been using this cleanser for about a year now and I absolutely love it. I usually take a small pump, a small amount goes a long way, and I lather it between the tops of my fingers. I scrub it all over my face and use hot water on my Makeup Eraser and wash it off.

#3: Shave

HUH? Yes, I shave. Shaving your face has so many benefits. It can remove dead skin cells, and hair, and overall brighten your face. I usually do this just once a week using the Hot Shave Cream and Razor. It's a cute little addition to my vanity.

#4: Toner

Next, I use toner. I have been using the same toner since early high school, it's called Thayers Facial Toner. It's great and affordable, I get it straight from Target. I apply it using cotton rounds and massage it gently into my skin all over my face. If you prefer, you can get this toner in a spray bottle form, or as of recently, I've been using their milky toner!

#5: Eye Cream

I recently introduced eye cream into my routine! I use the PÃœR MINERALS Mellow Eyes Hemp-Derived Eye Patches about twice a week and the CeraVe eye cream every day! A little goes a long way it's so creamy and smooth. I've definitely noticed reduced eye bags when I wake up in the morning.

#6: Oil

I'm in love with The Skinny Confidential Ice Queen Face Oil. It absorbs into your skin fast and leaves it so soft. It also looks adorable on my vanity. Face oil is important because it strengthens skin elasticity while keeping your skin plump!

#7: Ice Roll

I've tried ice rolling in the past and honestly wasn't impressed. I would leave my jade roller in the freezer for months before I even thought about touching it again. I was listening to the podcast, The Skinny Confidential, and the host Lauryn was talking about her new ice roller. It's called The Hot Mess Ice Roller. Ice rollers work wonders for bringing blood circulation to your face reducing puffiness, helping with lymphatic drainage, and brightening your complexion. I use this morning and night!

#8: Lip Mask

This is one of the newer products I've been using and saying I'm obsessed is an understatement! It's called the Laneige Special Care Sleeping Mask. Alongside the mask comes a little application tool. I know we're talking about my morning skincare routine but an example of how amazing this product works is that I will put it on before bed and when I wake up it's still fully on my lips. I use it every morning, only after I brush my teeth of course. It works great as an early morning lipgloss.

#9: Sunscreen

In my opinion, the most important step in my skincare routine is sunscreen! When I was younger I never wanted to put on sunscreen, my parents would need to force it on me. Now I never leave the house without sunscreen, rain or shine! I love using Supergoop because it's very weightless and gives a smooth finish, which is perfect for being underneath my makeup.

I hope you discover some new skincare products to incorporate into your own routine or gain valuable insights into the benefits of each step. Remember to check back in a few months for my Fall Nighttime Skincare Routine. Until then, happy skincare!
